George M.Stroud, Artist
I have been a part time artist most of my life with some formal training in college. I received my BA in fine Arts from California State University at Northridge, and a MBA from New Mexico Highlands University, Las Vegas, New Mexico.
After college I pursued careers in the corporate world and presently self employed as a handyman in Huntsville, Alabama.
I create art for enjoyment it provides me and want to share it with others. Painting and drawing has always been a passion of mine ever since I was old enough to pick up a pencil. I continually grow and learn all I can in the painting and drawing fields and who knows, maybe someday I might become well known in the art community?
I thoroughly enjoy the company of other artists and those who appreciate art. I am a member of the Huntsville Arts Council, Huntsville Museum of Art, and the Huntsville Art League.
My goal eventually is to make it a full time indulgence, and with the continual support from my family and friends, and having an income to support it, it just may happen!
